In Tuesday's league outing, the Schalmont Sabres (Schenectady, NY) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Lansingburgh Knights (Troy, NY), by a margin of 52-9.

The Sabres (7-5) will now prepare for their outing against Catholic Central (Troy, NY). The Crusaders go into the Section 2 Colonial outing with a 10-2 record. In their last outing, Catholic Central smashed Cobleskill-Richmondville (Cobleskill, NY), 59-30, in a league outing.

The Knights now own a 0-15 record. They play next when they host Cohoes for a Section 2 Colonial outing on Friday, January 20. Lansingburgh will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 90-51 league loss to Ichabod Crane (Valatie, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 2-9.
