The Madison Central Jaguars (Madison, MS) basketball knocked off the host Murrah Mustangs (Jackson, MS), 54-37 in Tuesday's league test.
The Jaguars (12-9) will now prepare for their test against Clinton (Clinton, MS). The Arrows go into the 6A Region 4 test with a 16-4 record. In their last test, Clinton went down by Germantown (Madison, MS), 59-50, in a league test.
The Mustangs now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they host Germantown for a 6A Region 4 test on Friday, January 20. Murrah will encounter a Mavericks squad coming off a 59-50 league win over Clinton (Clinton, MS). The Mavericks record now stands at 19-2.
