The Presbyterian Christian Bobcats (Hattiesburg, MS) basketball felled the host Madison-Ridgeland Academy Patriots (Madison, MS), 59-50 in Tuesday's league test.
The Bobcats (23-3) will now prepare for their test against Hartfield Academy (Flowood, MS). The Hawks go into the MAIS 6A District 1 test with a 21-2 record. In their last test, Hartfield Academy thwarted Jackson Prep (Jackson, MS), 63-42, in a league test.
The Patriots now own a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Jackson Academy for a MAIS 6A District 1 test on Friday, January 20.
