Rockwell Christian School Chargers (Rockwell, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Matthews Christian Academy Colts (Matthews, NC), 33-19 in a league bout.

With the win, Rockwell Christian School upgrades its record to 8-9 on the season. The Chargers travel to Calvary Christian (King, NC) to clash with the Cougar in a non-league bout on Friday, January 20. The Cougar go into the bout with a record of 5-5.

Next up, the Colts clash with the Tabernacle Christian Ram (Monroe, NC) in a NCCSA A West Region 2 bout, on Thursday, January 19. Matthews Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-12 season record. The Ram go into the bout with a 2-12 record after their 55-21 league loss to Scotland Christian Academy (Laurinburg, NC).
