The Melbourne Bearkatz (Melbourne, AR) basketball crushed the visiting Tuckerman Bulldogs (Tuckerman, AR), 58-27 in Tuesday's league test.
The Bearkatz (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Salem (Salem, AR). The Greyhounds go into the 3A Region 2 test with a 14-1 record. In their last test, Salem walloped Walnut Ridge (Walnut Ridge, AR), 64-27, in a league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to Mountain View for a 3A Region 2 test on Friday, January 20. Tuckerman will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 55-49 league loss to Melbourne (Melbourne, AR). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 4-2.
