MFL MarMac Bulldogs (Monona, IA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Postville Pirates (Postville, IA), 71-16 in a league bout.

With the victory, MFL MarMac upgrades its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Turkey Valley (Jackson Junction, IA) to play the Trojans in a Upper Iowa bout on Friday, January 20. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 11-4. Turkey Valley won 58-26 in their recent league bout against Clayton-Ridge (Guttenburg, IA)

Next up, the Pirates play the North Fayette Valley (West Union, IA) in a Upper Iowa bout, on Friday, January 20. Postville will attempt to upgrade on its 1-13 season record.
