Thorndale Bulldogs (Thorndale, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Milano Eagles (Milano, TX), 43-29 in a league bout.

With the win, Thorndale upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Bulldogs host Thrall (Thrall, TX) to play the Tigers in a 2A Region IV District 27 bout on Friday, January 20. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 16-9. Thrall won 53-23 in their recent league bout against Milano (Milano, TX)

Next up, the Eagles play the Granger Lions (Granger, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 27 bout, on Friday, January 20. Milano will attempt to upgrade on its 10-15 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 2-14 record after their 52-34 league loss to Hearne (Hearne, TX).
