The Mill Creek Hawks (Hoschton, GA) basketball felled the host Mountain View Bears (Lawrenceville, GA), 51-36 in Tuesday's league test.
The Hawks (10-5) will now prepare for their test against Collins Hill (Suwanee, GA). The Eagles go into the AAAAAAA Region 8 test with a 8-10 record. In their last test, Collins Hill was beaten by Buford (Buford, GA), 61-54, in a league test.
The Bears now own a 3-14 record. They play next when they host Central Gwinnett for a AAAAAAA Region 8 test on Friday, January 20. Mountain View will encounter a Black Knights squad coming off a 58-25 non-league win over Discovery (Lawrenceville, GA). The Black Knights record now stands at 16-3.
