Nipomo Titans (Nipomo, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Mission Prep Royals (San Luis Obispo, CA), 69-49 in a league bout.

With the victory, Nipomo upgrades its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Orcutt Academy (Orcutt, CA) to play the Spartans in a Mountain bout on Friday, January 20. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 15-3. Orcutt Academy won 60-30 in their recent non-league test against Coast Union (Cambria, CA)

The Royals now own a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to Arroyo Grande for a Mountain test on Friday, January 20. Mission Prep will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 58-26 league loss to St. Joseph (Santa Maria, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 12-7.
