The Pataula Charter Academy Panthers basketball team (Edison, GA), was routed 89-16 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Mitchell County Eagles (Camilla, GA)

The Eagles now sport a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stewart County for a non-league battle on Friday, January 20. Mitchell County will battle a Royal Knights team coming off a 48-24 non-league loss to Seminole County (Donalsonville, GA). The Royal Knights record now stands at 1-11.

The Panthers (2-13) will now prepare for their battle against Calhoun County (Edison, GA). The Cougars come into the A D2 Region 1A battle with a 11-5 record. In their last battle, Calhoun County trounced Quitman County (Georgetown, GA), 82-42, in a league battle.
