Neuse Christian Academy Lions (Raleigh, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Thales Academy Apex Titans (Apex, NC), 41-25 in a league bout.

With the win, Neuse Christian Academy upgrades its record to 6-8 on the season. The Lions host Grace Christian (Sanford, NC) to play the Crusaders in a NCISAA Raleigh Area bout on Thursday, January 19. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 19-2. Grace Christian won 76-16 in their recent league bout against St. Thomas More Academy (Raleigh, NC)

Next up, the Titans play the Thales Academy Rolesville Knights (Rolesville, NC) in a NCISAA Raleigh Area bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Thales Academy Apex will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 2-12 record after their 2-0 league loss to Grace Christian (Sanford, NC).
