In Tuesday's league outing, the North Lamar Panthers (Paris, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Pittsburg Pirates (Pittsburg, TX), by a margin of 78-30.
The Panthers (21-6) will now prepare for their outing against Sulphur Springs (Sulphur Springs, TX). The Wildcats go into the 4A Region II District 15 outing with a 19-6 record. In their last outing, Sulphur Springs was trounced by Liberty-Eylau (Texarkana, TX), 49-48, in a league outing.
The Pirates now own a 5-12 record. They play next when they travel to Pleasant Grove for a 4A Region II District 15 outing on Friday, January 20. Pittsburg will clash with a Hawks squad coming off a 62-50 league loss to Paris (Paris, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 11-11.
