Southern Guilford Storm (Greensboro, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Northeast Guilford Rams (McLeansville, NC), 45-29 in a league bout.

With the win, Southern Guilford upgrades its record to 5-12 on the season. The Storm travel to Uwharrie Charter (Asheboro, NC) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 18. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 7-9. Uwharrie Charter lost 44-41 in their recent non-league bout against Forsyth Home Educators (Winston-Salem, NC)

Next up, the Rams play the Eastern Guilford Wildcats (Gibsonville, NC) in a 3A Conference 46 bout, on Friday, January 20. Northeast Guilford will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 4-13 record after their 77-49 league loss to Dudley (Greensboro, NC).
