The NorthPointe Christian Mustangs basketball team scored 46 points and held the host Sparta Spartans to 33 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Comstock Park for a Ottawa-Kent - Silver contest on Friday, January 20. NorthPointe Christian will battle a Panthers team coming off a 53-46 league loss to Calvin Christian (Grandville, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 4-7.

The Spartans (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Calvin Christian (Grandville, MI). The Squires enter the Ottawa-Kent - Silver contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Calvin Christian ran past Comstock Park (Comstock Park, MI), 53-46, in a league contest.
