Omaha Christian Academy Eagles (Omaha, NE) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Whiting Warriors (Whiting, IA), 1-0 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Omaha Christian Academy upgrades its record to 5-6 on the season. The Eagles host Boys Town (Boys Town, NE) to play the Cowboys in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 19. The Cowboys go into the bout with a record of 0-10. Boys Town lost 44-39 in their recent non-league bout against Cedar Bluffs (Cedar Bluffs, NE)

Next up, the Warriors play the West Harrison Hawkeyes (Mondamin, IA) in a Western Valley - South bout, on Thursday, January 19. Whiting will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Hawkeyes go into the bout with a 2-9 record after their 56-40 non-league loss to Coon Rapids-Bayard (Coon Rapids, IA).
