Georgia High School Basketball - Peach County trounces Pike County

January 17, 2023: Zebulon, GA 30295

The Peach County Trojans (Fort Valley, GA) basketball crushed the host Pike County Pirates (Zebulon, GA), 66-23 in Tuesday's league test.

The Trojans (12-5) will now prepare for their test against Jackson (Jackson, GA). The Red Devils go into the AAA Region 2 test with a 7-8 record. In their last test, Jackson was trounced by Upson-Lee (Thomaston, GA), 51-49, in a league test.

The Pirates now own a 3-12 record. They play next when they travel to Upson-Lee for a AAA Region 2 test on Friday, January 20. Pike County will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 51-38 league loss to Mary Persons (Forsyth, GA). The Knights record now stands at 5-11.
