New Jersey High School Basketball - Schalick succumbs to Penns Grove

The Penns Grove Red Devils defeated the host Schalick Cougars basketball team by a tally of 55-40 in Tuesday's league battle.
The Red Devils now possess a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pennsville Memorial for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 19. Penns Grove will confront a Eagles team coming off a 45-20 non-league win over Glassboro (Glassboro, NJ). The Eagles record now stands at 4-5.
The Cougars (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Overbrook (Pine Hill, NJ). The Rams come into the Tri-County - Diamond battle with a 1-8 record. In their last battle, Overbrook dropped by Woodstown (Woodstown, NJ), 58-31, in a league battle.
