Warwick Raiders (Newport News, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Phoebus Phantoms (Hampton, VA), 52-32 in a league bout.

With the win, Warwick upgrades its record to 11-3 on the season. The Raiders travel to Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA) to play the Bruins in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 19. The Bruins go into the bout with a record of 7-4. Western Branch lost 57-39 in their recent league bout against Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA)

Next up, the Phantoms play the Bethel Bruins (Hampton, VA) in a Peninsula bout, on Friday, January 20. Phoebus will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Bruins go into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 55-8 league win over Gloucester (Gloucester, VA).
