The Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs topped the visiting Saydel Eagles basketball team by a final score of 49-39 in Tuesday's league game.
In their next game, the Mustangs face the Jefferson-Scranton Rams (Jefferson, IA) in a non-league game, on Friday, January 20. Prairie City-Monroe will attempt to move on its 7-9 season record.
With the defeat, Saydel moves to 4-8 on the year. The Eagles travel to West Central Valley (Stuart, IA) to face the Wildcats in a non-league game on Thursday, January 19.
