Georgia High School Basketball - Seminole County overwhelms Stewart County

January 17, 2023: Lumpkin, GA 31815

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Seminole County Indians (Donalsonville, GA) and the host Stewart County Royal Knights (Lumpkin, GA), saw Seminole County's basketball squad wallop Stewart County by a tally of 48-24.

With the victory, Seminole County improves its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Indians host Quitman County (Georgetown, GA) to confront the Hornets in a A D2 Region 1A challenge on Friday, January 20. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 1-8. Quitman County lost 82-42 in their recent league challenge against Calhoun County (Edison, GA)

Next up, the Royal Knights confront the Mitchell County Eagles (Camilla, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 20. Stewart County will attempt to improve on its 1-11 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 9-9 record after their 89-16 league win over Pataula Charter Academy (Edison, GA).
