Alabama High School Basketball - Shelby County ripped by Vincent

The Vincent Yellow Jackets basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Shelby County Wildcats to 26 in the Yellow Jackets non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Yellow Jackets now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westminster School at Oak Mountain for a 2A Area 8 contest on Tuesday, January 24. Vincent will battle a Knights team coming off a 56-30 league win over Altamont (Birmingham, AL). The Knights record now stands at 13-2.
The Wildcats (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against Montevallo (Montevallo, AL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 10-12 record. In their last contest, Montevallo was routed by Bibb County (Centreville, AL), 47-31, in a league contest.
