The South Johnston Trojans basketball team (Four Oaks, NC), dropped 45-29 in Tuesday's league battle with the host West Johnston Wildcats (Benson, NC)

The Wildcats now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fike for a 3A Conference 21 battle on Friday, January 20. West Johnston will battle a Demons team coming off a 65-37 league loss to Hunt (Wilson, NC). The Demons record now stands at 12-4.

The Trojans (2-12) will now prepare for their battle against Smithfield-Selma (Smithfield, NC). The Spartans come into the 3A Conference 21 battle with a 0-12 record. In their last battle, Smithfield-Selma dropped by East Wake (Wendell, NC), 75-11, in a league battle.
