The Southland Academy Raiders (Americus, GA) basketball felled the host Terrell Academy Eagles (Dawson, GA), 49-39 in Tuesday's league test.

The Raiders (16-1) will now prepare for their test against Valwood (Valdosta, GA). The Valiants go into the GIAA AAAA/AAA District 3 test with a 3-7 record.

The Eagles now own a 12-6 record. They play next when they host Deerfield-Windsor for a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 3 test on Friday, January 20. Terrell Academy will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 58-15 league win over Brookwood (Thomasville, GA). The Knights record now stands at 15-1.
