The Springfield Tigers basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Wabasso Rabbits to 63 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sleepy Eye for a A Section 2 bout on Friday, January 20. Springfield will play a Indians squad coming off a 77-68 league loss to Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart (Hector, MN). The Indians record now stands at 10-5.

Next up, the Rabbits play the Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop Thunderbirds (Winthrop, MN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 20. Wabasso will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Thunderbirds go into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 67-64 league win over St. Mary's (Sleepy Eye, MN).
