California High School Basketball - Valhalla knocked off by Steele Canyon

January 17, 2023: Spring Valley, CA 91978

The Steele Canyon Cougars basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Valhalla Norsemen to 39 in the Cougars league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cougars now sport a 17-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to El Cajon Valley for a Grossmont - Valley contest on Friday, January 20. Steele Canyon will battle a Braves team coming off a 50-37 league win over West Hills (Santee, CA). The Braves record now stands at 12-6.

The Norsemen (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against O'Farrell Charter (San Diego, CA). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, O'Farrell Charter was defeated by Bayfront Charter (Chula Vista, CA), 41-25, in a league contest.
