Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Wesson Cobras (Wesson, MS) and the visiting Wilkinson County Wildcats (Woodville, MS), saw Wesson's basketball squad overcome Wilkinson County by a tally of 40-22.

With the victory, Wesson improves its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Cobras host Jefferson County (Fayette, MS) to play the Tigers in a 3A Region 7 challenge on Friday, January 20. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 2-3.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Franklin County Bulldogs (Meadville, MS) in a 3A Region 7 challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Wilkinson County will attempt to improve on its 0-9 season record.
