Calaveras Redhawks (San Andreas, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Sonora Wildcats (Sonora, CA), 40-18 in a league bout.

With the win, Calaveras upgrades its record to 16-3 on the season. The Redhawks travel to Bret Harte (Angels Camp, CA) to play the Bullfrogs in a bout on Thursday, January 19. The Bullfrogs go into the bout with a record of 12-2. Bret Harte won 67-15 in their recent league bout against Amador (Sutter Creek, CA)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Amador Buffaloes (Sutter Creek, CA) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Sonora will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record.
