The C.B. Aycock Golden Falcons basketball team scored 40 points and held the host Southern Wayne Saints to 22 in the Golden Falcons non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Golden Falcons now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hunt for a non-league contest on Friday, January 20. C.B. Aycock will battle a Warriors team coming off a 29-25 non-league loss to West Johnston (Benson, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 0-5.
The Saints (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against East Wake (Wendell, NC). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, East Wake was defeated by South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC), 28-10, in a league contest.
