In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Weston Ranch Cougars basketball team scored a tight 52-45 victory over the Chavez Titans.
The Cougars now possess a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Franklin for a battle on Thursday, January 19. Weston Ranch will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 24-20 league win over McNair (Stockton, CA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 1-6.
The Titans (4-10) will now prepare for their battle against McNair (Stockton, CA). The Eagles come into the battle with a 0-5 record. In their last battle, McNair was nudged by Franklin (Stockton, CA), 24-20, in a league battle.
