Fort Defiance Indians (Fort Defiance, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Staunton Storm (Staunton, VA), 29-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fort Defiance upgrades its record to 3-6 on the season. The Indians travel to Monticello (Charlottesville, VA) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 18. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 1-9. Monticello lost 36-29 in their recent non-league bout against Goochland (Goochland, VA)

Next up, the Storm clash with the Harrisonburg Blue Streaks (Harrisonburg, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 19. Staunton will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Blue Streaks go into the bout with a 8-3 record after their 30-26 non-league win over Broadway (Broadway, VA).
