Nitro Wildcats (Nitro, WV) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV), 33-26 in a league bout.

With the win, Nitro upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season.

Next up, the Huskies play the Winfield Generals (Winfield, WV) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Hoover will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Generals go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 40-31 league win over Hoover (Clendenin, WV).
