Pinnacle Classical Academy Eagles (Shelby, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Temple Baptist Eagles (Asheville, NC), 27-14 in a league bout.

With the win, Pinnacle Classical Academy upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to Lake Lure Classical Academy (Lake Lure, NC) to clash with the Raptors in a bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Raptors go into the bout with a record of 0-7. Lake Lure Classical Academy lost 41-7 in their recent league bout against The Master's Academy (Forest City, NC)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Haywood Christian Academy Red Wolves (Waynesville, NC) in a bout, on Friday, January 27. Temple Baptist will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Red Wolves go into the bout with a 7-3 record after their 22-21 league win over Veritas Christian Academy (Arden, NC).
