The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the University Prep Panthers (Redding, CA) and the host Yreka Miners (Yreka, CA), saw University Prep's soccer squad triumph over Yreka by a margin of 7-0.

The Panthers now sport a 6-6 record. They play next when they host Lassen for a Northern Athletic test on Thursday, January 19. University Prep will meet a Grizzlies squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to West Valley (Cottonwood, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 7-5.

With the loss, Yreka drops to 4-6 on the season. The Miners travel to Anderson (Anderson, CA) to meet the Cubs in a Northern Athletic test on Thursday, January 19. The Cubs come into the test with a record of 5-7. Anderson won 10-0 in their recent league test against Central Valley (Shasta Lake, CA)
