North Carolina High School Basketball - A.L. Brown thwarts South Iredell

The A.L. Brown Wonders (Kannapolis, NC) basketball knocked off the visiting South Iredell Vikings (Statesville, NC), 49-35 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Wonders (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC). The Ragin' Bulls go into the non-league test with a 10-4 record. In their last test, Hickory Ridge notched a victory over South Iredell (Statesville, NC), 67-14, in a non-league test.

The Vikings now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to West Cabarrus for a test on Friday, January 20. South Iredell will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 51-32 non-league loss to Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC). The Wolverines record now stands at 4-6.
