The Floyd County Buffaloes (Floyd, VA) basketball felled the host Carroll County Cavaliers (Hillsville, VA), 62-43 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Buffaloes (4-6) will now prepare for their test against James River (Buchanan, VA). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 1-13 record. In their last test, James River was beaten by Alleghany (Covington, VA), 46-30, in a non-league test.
The Cavaliers now own a 8-7 record. They play next when they host Fort Chiswell for a non-league test on Thursday, January 19. Carroll County will clash with a Pioneers squad coming off a 40-26 non-league win over Grayson County (Independence, VA). The Pioneers record now stands at 7-7.
