With the victory, Hertford County improves its record to 5-6 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Holmes (Edenton, NC) to play the Aces in a challenge on Friday, January 20. The Aces come into the challenge with a record of 10-4. Holmes won 72-63 in their recent non-league challenge against Manteo (Manteo, NC)

Next up, the Knights play the First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) in a challenge, on Friday, January 20. Currituck County will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Nighthawks come into the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 63-43 non-league loss to Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC).
