Eldorado Golden Eagles (Albuquerque, NM) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Piedra Vista Panthers (Farmington, NM), 76-38 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Eldorado upgrades its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles travel to Sandia (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Matadors in a bout on Saturday, January 21. The Matadors come into the bout with a record of 9-2. Sandia won 73-64 in their recent non-league bout against Farmington (Farmington, NM)

Next up, the Panthers play the La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 20. Piedra Vista will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Bears come into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 65-62 non-league loss to West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM).
