With the victory, Evangel Christian upgrades its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Lightning travel to Edgewood Academy (Elmore, AL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 19. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 2-1. Edgewood Academy won 44-40 in their recent league bout against Autauga Academy (Prattville, AL)

Next up, the Warriors play the Tabernacle Torches (Gardendale, AL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 19. Tuscaloosa Home Educators will attempt to move on its 7-9 season record. The Torches enter the game with a 7-6 record after their 40-36 league win over Valley Fellowship Christian Academy (Huntsville, AL).
