Tunstall Trojans (Dry Fork, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Halifax County Comets (South Boston, VA), 36-26 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Tunstall upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Trojans travel to Bassett (Bassett, VA) to clash with the Bengals in a non-league bout on Friday, January 20. The Bengals go into the bout with a record of 3-6. Bassett won 57-37 in their recent non-league bout against Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA)

Next up, the Comets clash with the Patrick County Cougars (Stuart, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 20. Halifax County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record.
