The North Duplin Rebels (Calypso, NC) basketball crushed the host Union Spartans (Rose Hill, NC), 77-37 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Rebels (13-1) will now prepare for their test against Rosewood (Goldsboro, NC). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Rosewood walloped Neuse Charter (Smithfield, NC), 59-49, in a league test.
The Spartans now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they travel to Hobbton for a non-league test on Friday, January 20. Union will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 64-59 league loss to Lakewood (Roseboro, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-8.
