The North Edgecombe Warriors (Tarboro, NC) basketball knocked off the host Weldon Chargers (Weldon, NC), 53-43 in Tuesday's league test.
The Warriors (9-5) will now prepare for their test against Tarboro (Tarboro, NC). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 2-6 record.
The Chargers now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Warren County for a non-league test on Friday, January 20. Weldon will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 72-52 non-league loss to KIPP Pride (Gaston, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 10-3.
