Round Valley Mustangs (Covelo, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Point Arena Pirates (Point Arena, CA), 72-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Round Valley upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Mustangs travel to South Fork (Miranda, CA) to play the Cubs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 18. The Cubs go into the bout with a record of 5-4.

Next up, the Pirates play the Mendocino Cardinals (Mendocino, CA) in a bout, on Saturday, January 21. Point Arena will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record.
