California High School Basketball - West Ranch can't hold off Saugus

The Saugus Centurions basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting West Ranch Wildcats to 44 in the Centurions league triumph on Tuesday.

The Centurions now sport a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hart for a contest on Friday, January 20. Saugus will battle a Indians team coming off a 73-62 league win over Golden Valley (Santa Clarita, CA). The Indians record now stands at 7-7.

The Wildcats (12-10) will now prepare for their contest against Valencia (Valencia, CA). The Vikings enter the contest with a 11-10 record. In their last contest, Valencia nudged Castaic (Castaic, CA), 66-24, in a league contest.
