Schley County Wildcats (Ellaville, GA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Sherwood Christian Academy Eagles (Albany, GA), 40-32 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Schley County upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Taylor County (Butler, GA) to play the Vikings in a bout on Saturday, February 4. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 0-5.

Next up, the Eagles play the Skipstone Academy Warriors (Griffin, GA) in a bout, on Friday, January 20. Sherwood Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record.
