In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting La Vega Pirates soccer squad scored a good 11-0 triumph over the Hearne Eagles.
The Pirates (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Connally (Waco, TX). The Cadets come into the 4A Region 3 District 23 battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Connally thwarted C.H. Yoe (Cameron, TX), 3-2, in a league battle.
The Eagles (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against Mexia (Mexia, TX). The Black Cats come into the 4A Region 3 District 23 battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, Mexia Gatesville (Gatesville, TX), 1-1, in a non-league battle.
