The Magnolia West Mustangs basketball team (Magnolia, TX), was overwhelmed 88-47 in Wednesday's league battle with the host A&M Consolidated Tigers (College Station, TX)
The Tigers now possess a 12-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brenham for a 5A Region III District 21 battle on Friday, January 19. A&M Consolidated will battle a Cubs team coming off a 54-46 league loss to Magnolia (Magnolia, TX). The Cubs record now stands at 20-5.
The Mustangs (3-18) will now prepare for their battle against Rudder (Bryan, TX). The Rangers come into the 5A Region III District 21 battle with a 12-13 record. In their last battle, Rudder trounced Montgomery (Montgomery, TX), 63-62, in a league battle.
