In Wednesday's league outing, the Arleta Mustangs (Arleta, CA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Chavez Eagles (San Fernando, CA), by a margin of 75-25.

The Mustangs (11-7) will now prepare for their outing against Poly (Sun Valley, CA). The Parrots go into the East Valley outing with a 6-13 record. In their last outing, Poly smashed Monroe (North Hills, CA), 69-31, in a league outing.

The Eagles now own a 2-11 record. They play next when they travel to North Hollywood for a East Valley outing on Friday, January 19. Chavez will clash with a Huskies squad coming off a 60-42 league loss to Verdugo Hills (Tujunga, CA). The Huskies record now stands at 7-15.
