Texas High School Basketball - Martin can't hold off Arlington

The Arlington Colts basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the visiting Martin Warriors to 48 in the Colts league victory on Wednesday.
The Colts now sport a 6-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sam Houston for a 6A Region I District 8 contest on Friday, January 19. Arlington will battle a Texans team coming off a 58-52 league loss to Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX). The Texans record now stands at 4-19.
The Warriors (11-14) will now prepare for their contest against Bowie (Arlington, TX). The Volunteers come into the 6A Region I District 8 contest with a 13-13 record. In their last contest, Bowie edged Lamar (Arlington, TX), 66-60, in a league contest.
