With the victory, Barbers Hill upgrades its record to 24-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Lee (Baytown, TX) to play the Ganders in a 5A Region III District 17 challenge on Friday, January 19. The Ganders come into the challenge with a record of 14-11. Lee lost 60-38 in their recent league challenge against Port Arthur Memorial (Port Arthur, TX)

Next up, the Cougars play the Sterling Rangers (Baytown, TX) in a 5A Region III District 17 challenge, on Friday, January 19. Crosby will attempt to upgrade on its 9-14 season record. The Rangers come into the challenge with a 6-18 record after their 62-55 league loss to Nederland (Nederland, TX).
