In Wednesday's league outing, the Bassett Olympians (La Puente, CA) basketball squad beat the visiting Ganesha Giants (Pomona, CA), by a margin of 42-27.

The Olympians (4-16) will now prepare for their outing against Garey (Pomona, CA). The Vikings go into the Miramonte outing with a 6-10 record. In their last outing, Garey was beaten by La Puente (La Puente, CA), 60-36, in a league outing.

The Giants now own a 1-11 record. They play next when they host Pomona for a Miramonte outing on Friday, January 19. Ganesha will clash with a Red Devils squad coming off a 64-53 league win over Edgewood (West Covina, CA). The Red Devils record now stands at 9-12.
